CG-1140 — Hybridization Bottles
Heavy wall bottle used in hybridization incubators or ovens with rotators. An alternative to plastic bags or boxes, the membrane is rolled and placed into the bottle which is secured in a rotisserie. The membrane is saturated and drained during each revolution, resulting in even exposure of the blots to probe or wash solutions. Bottle fits most hybridization equipment and has straight interior walls for easy membrane placement and removal, as well as decanting of hybridization solutions. The red plastic cap has a Teflon faced liner and a working temperature of 180°C. The blue cap has a silicone sealing ring and a working temperature of 140°C. Dual chamber bottle has a capped opening at each end with a solid glass wall in the center to divide the bottle into two equal compartments.

Erlenmeyer flask, sterile, non-pyrogenic and manufactured with Lexan® polycarbonate resin. Flasks are supplied with exclusive DuoCap™ designed for both aerobic and anaerobic applications. For aerobic applications the cap utilizes a 0.22µm pore-size PTFE membrane for sterile air exchange. For anaerobic applications the cap can easily be converted to a solid cap design. Solid top caps are also ideal for applications requiring mixing, shaking and storage of biological fluids. Graduations are molded for accuracy. New EZ-Tear™ packaging allows for easy access.

Vessels are constructed of Borosilicate glass that conforms to ASTM E-488, Type 1 specifications. Available with a choice of thread styles, GL-45, 38 and 51mm.The GL-45 threaded bottles are available with a choice of a solid cap or a vented cap. The vented cap can be attached to the bottle during autoclaving and is ideal for gas exchange when the bottles are used in a CO2 environment.
