Please note, if your current motor is stamped Jakel Motors and there is a silver plate attached to the line cord in the housing, this motor has been discontinued. Jakel Motor Company has gone out of business. Unfortunately, our current motor will not fit in your Vortex-Genie 2 mixer.

The Micro Switch can be easily installed using a philips head screw driver. This Micro Switch was used in the Vortex-Genie 2 mixers that were produced before the year 1998. If your Vortex-Genie 2 mixer has a brass thumb screw sticking out of the bottom of the unit, then you will use this Micro Switch. Please note, this switch has three tabs. If your Micro Switch has two tabs you will need to order Part No. ESP0005.
